Meet our Jocks
Interesting things that are good to know!

Suzanne Michaels "The Patron Saint of Musicians" - January 10, 2008 will be Suzanne's 29th year in radio, and she claims she'll "keep doing it til she gets it right!" Her love of music and knowledge of music history motivates her in keeping the playlist fresh and sharp. There're over 15,000 songs in the playlist and if she doesn't have it, she'll find it! One of her passions is her love and commitment to the many talented local musicians here in Rim Country. "I appreciate their talent and the fact that all of them are there for me whenever I need them", which brings us to
another one of her passions..."Toys For Tunes". The 2nd Annual Toys For Tunes will take place over 3 weekends in November and is a labor of love. She has two rules in this endeavor.....it's not about us...it's about the kids......and no egos allowed! Her many Public Service appearances keep her busy, but she always finds time to "hop" around to the different venues each weekend where the local musicians play. "They support me, so it's only right that I support them".

Comments, questions, and suggestions are always welcome, and each are individually answered. "I've met some very important and influential people in my life, so I've been very blessed". Some of those folks include, Eddie Money, Rod Stewart, Dick Clark, Don Henley, Kenny Loggins and Gene Clark (may he rest in peace) from the Byrds. "I'm exactly where I want to be and in 50 years, I'll still be doing the Audio Asylum!"

Kit McGuire - Long, long ago, in a land far away, if you consider Cleveland far enough away, I embarked in a few artistic directions including professional musician, actor, photographer and radio air personality. Seems I've come full circle since those days. My radio career began in Cleveland, Ohio and took me to Detroit, Chicago, Austin, many points in between and now Payson! My years of training and experience have brought me to a level I truly believe this area will embrace gladly. I'll be playing Indie artists but choose to refrain from certain other types of music which would not really fit the criteria at KRIM-FM. While I won't be able to make everyone happy all the time with the music played, if they listen long enough I'm sure they will find that what I present will grow on them and win them over. As well as the variety of music played I will also have in-studio and call-in interviews. All very informal and relaxing. I'm sure there will be many contests, remotes and public appearances as well. Something for the wolf in all of us.

Phanie Moonz - Four years ago I fell into a gig with a low power FM station running out of an 80 acre organic farm in South Kona, Hawaii.  The experience changed the course of my life, led me into television production, and helped me to support my community through the use of media. I'm excited to be a part of KRIM and intend to do my best to entertain and enlighten the folks of Rim Country and beyond!

In my lifetime I've experienced a wide variety of music and found that the only type of music I seem to prefer over any other is GOOD music.  This being the case, I enjoy playing a variety of artists and genres, and love hearing the new bands coming onto the scene. I also have a passion for sustainability, holistic awareness, and a very special place in my heart for the critters.  My dream is to make enough money to buy a ranch in Montana, a castle in France, and an island in the South Pacific.  From these locations I'll make movies, radio programs, finish that book I've been working on for the last five years, and run an organic "no kill" human shelter for spoiled rotten family members, friends, and animals.  Is that too much to ask?
