KRIM-FM is
run by the Payson Council for the Musical Arts, Inc. Our official call sign
is KRIM-LP (The LP stands for low power FM or LPFM). We operate on an assigned
frequency of 96.3 We transmit 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week and use no satellite feeds. All our music is carefully
hand selected by the staff of KRIM and either played live or pre-recorded
earlier. Our signal is full fidelity stereo with a frequency response of 20
to 15,000 hertz .
In addition to our pre-recorded music, KRIM 96.3 FM also features live musicians and bands. These are usually 1/2 hour interviews with occasional live performances. We also actively promote all live music performances in and around Payson - such as Jazz in Arizona, State Fiddle Championship, Music Under the Stars, and Toys For Tunes. At these musical events we try to do live remotes whenever possible. This station is fully funded by the non-profit corporation, Payson Council for the Musical Arts, Inc. All contributions, underwriting, sponsorships, or other financial support to PCMA are fully tax deductable. We hope all of you enjoy our music.
